KPOT Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

First time at Kpot. I’m from Chicago and tried many different hot pot + Korean bbq spots. Went on a Saturday night and it was a full house but no wait. There’re a lot of tables in the restaurant. This has a very similar concept with a buffet of sauces, and on top of it, oysters & crawfish — that was new to me. I like the suggestion of sauces; reminded me of Flattop sauce suggestion. Friends were even bringing their friends to the sauce bar to show how they made their sauce. I was surprised they did not give a lot of broth to begin with & when we needed more, and was even more surprised that they gave a new batch of hot pot when asked for more. I’m not sure if it’s a Florida thing or Kpot thing because typically when I ask for refills in Chicago, they only refill with more chicken or vegetable broth. The marinated meat was good. The raw meat for hot pot was good. Overall, food and service were great. I think they have Illinois locations and can’t wait to try them local when I’m back home.

Li was very attentive and personable. He made sure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His excellent service made our experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him and look forward to dining here again!

Our server Li was amazing. With it being our first time, he explained everything. We got both the grill and hot pot. Everyone was completely full and satisfied. When you arrive you can get your utensils and sauces at a buffet at the back. It also includes wings and crab with other cold items. Then you order everything you want to try on the menu. Husband loved the hanger steak and my favorite is the lobster balls. He preferred the grill and I the hot pot, so we both needed to get both which is a $5 upcharge. Well worth it. We Also ordered a painkiller drink which was amazing! Will definitely return!

We are Hot Pot, which is all you can eat and $34. Extra $5 if you want KBBQ as well. Our server was named Amanda and she was great. Extremely kind and responsive server. The quality of the food was good and there are lots of options. They also have a full bar, sake and Soju. There is a sauce bar where you can mix your own sauces and also get sides. We tried the Apple Sake and it’s overpriced for the portion but it was good. The best broth here is the Tom Yum 😉.

I normally come here and do the Hot Pot and barbecue, but this time only came for the Hot Pot and was blessed to be given our amazing server that we had last time Jenna! She already knew for the most part what we needed and wanted. She was very fast, funny, & so kind. We love it here because of the food , but everytime we see her it’s a bonus for us! Thank you KPot & Jenna!
